Keeping a Transit System Safe: How GO became Guardians of the Journey for 72 Million Passengers, presented by Bill Grodzinski, Director Transit Safety, Metrolinx

Bill Grodsinski works with the Transit Safety team responsible for Fare Integrity, Transit Special Constable Operations, the Operational Support Unit, and Corporate Security. Prior to joining Metrolinx, Bill served 33 years with the Ontario Provincial Police, retiring as Chief Superintendent, Commander of OPP Highway Safety Division.

Bill will present an overview of six years of Metrolinx Transit Safety and discuss how embracing the key principles of Leadership, Relationships/Partnerships, Communications, Customer Service and a positive Image and Profile, built a culture of excellence, improved employee engagement and satisfaction, while building the most important aspect - individual pride and personal success.
