As building more cost-effective projects is of even greater importance during these unprecedented times, Stephen will expand on his recent report Station to Station: Why Subway-building Costs Have Soared in the Toronto Region, commissioned by the Residential and Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario (RCCAO).

The report provides an in-depth comparison of the costs of complex transit-infrastructure projects in the GTA, and other jurisdictions in Canada and internationally, and examines ways in which these costs can be reduced.

Stephen will provide an update on key developments, and what has been learned since the report was published in April, with a focus on moving forward in an environment changed by Covid-19.
