The Government of Canada is advancing the High Frequency Rail (HFR) project, covering Toronto, Peterborough, Ottawa, Montréal, Trois-Rivières and Québec City. This will deliver an enhanced passenger experience that will provide more frequent, faster and more reliable service on modern accessible trains with improved operational performance in Canada’s most densely populated region.

This modern, mostly electrified network will include mainly new and dedicated track and extend over 1,000 KM. It will provide greater economic vitality for the route’s cities and communities and offer greater lifestyle choices to the people who live, work and play in them.

Vincent will provide insights on the current planning and strategy work completed to date and will give an update on the procurement for the project.
