Bike Share Toronto has experienced significant growth with annual ridership increasing from 2.5M in 2019, to more than 4.6M in 2022. It is a key element of the City of Toronto’s TRANSFORMTO program, which calls for 75% of all work and school trips to be done by cycling, walking or transit by 2030.

The Toronto Parking Authority’s mission is to reimagine how Toronto moves by creating a seamless mobility experience. Bike Share Toronto, a publicly available bike share network operated by the Toronto Parking Authority, is just one of the ways that it is working to create a mobility experience that that delivers on “choice, ease and speed.”

Justin will focus on Bike Share’s 4 Year Growth Plan, which will ultimately see the network expand to more than 1,000 stations in every ward in the City of Toronto, and reach 20% electrification.
