As 2024 draws to a close, we take pride in reflecting on another successful year for the Greater Toronto Transportation Conference (GTTC). Since our founding in 1926, the GTTC has served as a vital forum for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation among senior leaders shaping the future of transportation in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Stepping into Our 99th Year

In 2025, we will begin our 99th year—a remarkable milestone as we approach a century of progress in transportation policy, planning, and service delivery. Planning is underway for our centennial celebration in 2026, and we welcome your ideas to ensure this historic occasion is truly memorable.

Highlights of 2024

This year’s speaker series demonstrated the GTTC’s commitment to addressing topical, relevant, and diverse issues across the transportation spectrum. The eight sessions showcased a range of subjects, from cutting-edge innovations in automated shuttles and micromobility strategies to the practical challenges of managing congestion, integrating transit fares, and improving traffic safety. This year’s speaker series featured a diverse and engaging lineup, offering invaluable insights into key transportation topics.
